Wild Life Art
This body of work is meant to focus on the strengths and qualities possessed by members of the animal kingdom that humans also look for in themselves.
All cultures throughout history have looked to animals as ‘spirit guides’ or protectors over us.
I chose to begin this series in hopes to remind us of the strong connections all members of the animal kingdom share, both humans and creatures.
In light of the current events dealing with climate change, these majestic animals are becoming increasingly endangered and are on the brink of extinction.
I hope to bring attention to these issues by reminding us how important animals are and how long they have been vital to our existence.
